Session I: Challenges & Opportunities of Managing Remote Staff

Once seen as a benefit, working from home became a necessity in March, 2020.  Practically overnight, we were forced to gear up for staff to work remotely.  After ten months, leaders have mixed views on the idea of work from home employees. While some may be doubtful about whether they’ll continue the practice, others are counting on it.  Employees have varying opinions as well.  Regardless of your view, it’s likely remote work will continue to be part of the future workplace on some level.  This program will be panel discussion on top considerations of managing remote staff:

  1. Best practices for hiring and on-boarding staff remotely
  2. What steps can we take to ensure productivity and employee engagement
  3. Outline the top technology considerations and/or practices for remote staff
